'The transformation of the former St Mary’s vicarage into a contemporary urban farm and community engagement space has begun. Located on the corner of Plenty Road and Tyler street, the ‘Oakhill Food Justice Farm’ is Sustain’s second urban farm in Melbourne and represents an important next step in realizing the city-wide vision of a thriving Urban Farm and Food Justice Training Network. The project is at an exciting stage, not only ready for seeding but the crowdsourcing of project development with a series of codesign events with stakeholders and broader public. Through a collaborative design process with local community, the farm will soon be a vibrant space for nutritious food production, engagement, education, connection with nature and source of food security. In this short film we welcome Harvey Bonighton, a passionate young foodie and student at Sydney Rd Community School, to the site. Harvey shares his views about what a healthy future means for all Victorians, and the role of places like Oakhill Food Justice Farm in creating that future.'
