'#covid-19 #coronavirus Some of Wuhan\'s Market Bizarre Items Hello Again Guys, welcome back to our channel. Today we are going to give you another insight on the novel coronavirus, but this time it\'s a little different. In this video, we are going to tell you about the Wuhan Market of China. But before we start, please remember to check our previous videos and do hit like and subscribe. Coronavirus or the COVID-19 as it was recently named has caused the death of many in China and has spread to almost two dozen other countries. The suspected source did not take time to be noticed and was said to have originated from a market in a city in China, known as the Wuhan Market. There are no evidences to prove this theory but let us just have brief information about this so called wet market. This market consists of outdoor stalls that are squeezed together forming narrow lines, where people are forced to be in close contact with live as well as dead animals. This typical market in China sells fruits and vegetables along with butchered beef, pork and lamb. They even sell whole plucked chickens with heads and beaks attached because they believe freshly killed chickens give a richer flavor. In addition the market consists of live crabs and fish, spewing water out of churning tanks. Sounds like any other market isn’t it? But it’s not. What’s different about this market is that they sell most of the unusual animals. So, let us see what they are and how they usually consume them. 1. Peacocks: As shocking as it sounds its true. They actually have a chef who cooks more peacock than anyone does and he is known as the famous peacock chef of China. He can make any dish out of peacock from a roast to even a peacock pie. 2. Rats: Rat on a stick is an actual dish. They put the dead rat on a stick and roast it in a medium to high heat. When it’s done they season it and then it’s ready for consumption. The kinds of rats that are mostly eaten in China are the bamboo rats. 3. Snakes: Snakes on a plate! No pun intended guys. The snake is killed and the skin is removed. It is then boiled and the bones are removed. Once this basic step is complete, the snake is ready to be turned into the desired dish. The most common snake delicacy in China is the snake soup.'
