'Making Nile Monitor Lizard Food'

'Today I show you how I make my Nile Monitor Lizard food. Keep in mind feeding monitor lizards can be controversial among some keepers. I make my food in bulk that lasts for my monitor lizard between 40 and 60 days. Larger lizards can consume this meal in faster. Buying ingredients in the size you see in the video can make 2 batches of what you see here, lasting roughly 2-3 months and only cost about $30-40. Feeding your monitor lizard a balanced diet of what it will find in the wild is necessary for a healthy animal. We tend to stay away from feeding rodents as Niles are prone to Fatty Liver Disease and rodents are very high in fat. *This video, although extremely family friendly, is not targeted directly for children.
