Food Safety & Hygiene Academy of the Philippines is the first dedicated school in the Philippines providing only DOH recognised Food Safety Education & Examinations in Catering & Retail. To help you comply with the legal requirements and avoid penalties, FoodSHAP® offers its Food Safety Training & Examination System FSTES. The FoodSHAP® FSTES follows a building blocks approach to help you get the most efficient training track possible from basic till the Food Safety Compliance Officer level (FSCO). The FSTES consists of three main training programs: 1. FoodSHAP® Basic Food Safety (for Food Handlers) 2. FoodSHAP® HACCP Principles & Practice 3. FoodSHAP® Food Safety Compliance Officer (FSCO) Food Handlers must attend the basic course prior to attending HACCP or FSCO and so on, it’s a prerequisite. If you attend the first 2 courses, you only attend the last parts of the FSCO training and assessment, you don’t have to repeat, given that your certificate hasn’t expire yet. All training programs are assessed by both closed book multiple-choice tests and a practical tests or case studies and assignments, based on the certificate level. For examination integrity purposes, all assessments are controlled and invigilated by a 3rd party, either the University of the Philippines or the City Government. FoodSHAP® is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in the UK CIEH All participants have the option to take the equivalent exam from the CIEH for an extra fee and if they pass they get another certificate from the UK FoodSHAP® certificates have a validity of 2 years after which you need to attend a short refresher training for updates and reviews. FoodSHAP® provides Food Safety Compliance Officer training & exam mandated by DOH. FoodSHAP® is accredited by CIEH UK & NEHA USA, as well as the International HACCP Alliance.'
