'Help your child give thanks for their daily food and God\'s grace with this simple prayer and Bible verses. Dear God, We thank you for the food that you have provided for us. We are grateful for the nourishment it gives us and are blessed to have enough to eat. Psalm 145:15 says, \"The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.\" We thank you for the farmers and workers who grow and harvest the food, and for all of the people who work to bring it to our tables. James 5:7 says, \"Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord\'s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.\" We also thank you for the opportunity to share the food with others who are in need, and for Your grace that allows us to do so. Matthew 14:19 says, \"Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, Jesus gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.\" We ask that you would bless the food that we are about to eat, and that you would use it to nourish our bodies and give us strength. We also ask that you would bless those who are hungry, and provide for them as well. Thank you for all your good gifts to us In Jesus\' name. Amen.'See also:
