Boma Dining Review - Animal Kingdom Lodge 2019

05:13 Oct 12, 2020
Today, I'm traveling to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to check out Boma. This African Themed buffet features a variety of dishes and after reading all of the reviews, I was anxious to give it a try. I'll be showing you the layout of the restaurant, showing some of the plates my brother in law and I brought back to the table, and giving my thoughts on the various dishes we tried. I'll also show you some of the food options, and give an overall breakdown of the restaurant. This is a completely different type of dining review than what I've done in the past, so hopefully it will be a success! Foods sampled: Seafood Gumbo Butternut Squash Soup African-Spiced Strip Loin Durban Style Roasted Chicken Nut Crusted Salmon Slow Roasted Pork Ribs Sauteed Green Beans Mac & Cheese Tabbouleh Roasted Root Vegetables Black Eyed Peas Pap Zebra Domes Key Lime Cheesecake Cherry Cobbler & Vanilla Sauce Location - Boma is located on the ground floor of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. When you first walk into Animal Kingdom Lodge, it is to the right and down the steps. To get to Boma from a Disney resort, you can either take resort transportation to any park, then hop a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge or you can grab an Uber or a Minnie Van. (There is not a direct bus between the Disney Resort Hotels.) Because Animal Kingdom Lodge is closest to Animal Kingdom park, taking an Animal Kingdom bus from your resort would probably be your shortest route if you decide not to Uber.
