In this video I will be sharing with you vegan dinner recipes that have influence from Latin America. I will show you how to make authentic salsa verde (green salsa) that will taste way better than store bought salsa. I will also be sharing how to make Chunky guacamole that I grew up eating. Vegan Elote if you’ve had elote en vaso (corn in a cup) it’s basically all the same flavors. The very last recipe will be a jackfruit asada (vegan carne asada). The jackfruit asada recipe is very spicy so I will be leaving an alternative mild marinade for the jackfruit asada in the description below for everyone that doesn’t enjoy super spicy. The ingredients for all of the recipes made in this video will be listed below. ↓ If you are looking for more vegan recipe ideas check out my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/natural_bean/ Music by: Anthony Villatoro: https://soundcloud.com/boujibum SALSA VERDE -1 white onion -2 jalapeños -2 poblano peppers -5 tomatillos -4 cloves of garlic -handful of fresh cilantro -juice of one lime *IF YOU WANT A MILD SALSA MAKE SURE TO TAKE THE SEEDS OUT OF THE PEPPERS BEFORE YOU BLEND EVERYTHING UP. I like a medium salsa so I take the seeds out of half of the peppers and leave the seeds in the rest. GUACAMOLE -3 ripe avocados* -½ an onion -half a jalapeño (no seeds) -handful of chopped cilantro (about ¼ cup) -dash of lemon pepper -pinch salt -dash of garlic powder or 2 cloves fresh garlic -juice of 1 lime *save the pits of the avocados. When you store the guac you can put them on top to help keep it from turning brown. You can also put extra lime juice on top. ELOTE -4 ears of corn -½ cup vegan mayo -dash of cumin -dash of chili powder -dash of tajin -nutritional yeast or vegan parm -1 tablespoon hot sauce (a little extra for on top of the elote) -1 lime for serving with the corn JACKFRUIT ASADA - MILD RECIPE -2 cans of jackfruit (I used 20oz cans) -1 jalapeño (take out seeds) -¼ cup orange juice -the juice of 1 lime -1 tablespoon liquid aminos - 6 cloves garlic -2 tablespoon tomato paste -1 tablespoon adobo seasoning (I use the goya brand) -dash of cumin -dash of coriander -¼ cup olive oil -handful of cilantro *blend everything expect jackfruit together in blender or food processor. Drain & rinse jackfruit. Add jackfruit to a bowl & pour blended mixture over the top of jackfruit. Mix everything together & let marinate in fridge for 2 hours - overnight. Follow the same baking instructions as in the video. JACKFRUIT ASADA - SPICY RECIPE (recipe in video) -2 cans of jackfruit (I used 20oz cans) -1 small can of chipotles en adobo sauce -6 cloves minced garlic -dash of cumin -dash of coriander -1 tablespoon liquid aminos -¼ cup olive oil -juice of 1 lime -pinch of salt #vegano #latin america #veganrecipes
