'In the first of our Community Champion interviews, our superstar volunteer Karen, talks food poverty, food waste and food accessibility schemes with social entrepreneur and nutritionist, Kay Johnson. Businesses all around the world are responding to both the lockdown measures and the broader impact of Corona. As Kay discusses, social enterprises are no different. The difference here though is that, with their role, comes added social responsibility and the need for more community engagement at a time when isolation could be a savior. Thankfully in Preston, there\'s been great support for those in need across our communities. In line with Podio\'s own adjustments, Our Karen has made this video as part of our Moving Digital approach. Thank you Karen, and thank you Kay - your insight, your activism and your passions are most appreciated. #LovePreston #PodioPreston #CelebrateTheGood Donate to the Larder\'s crowd funding page: www.avivacommunityfund.co.uk/kids-in-the-kitchen-1 Follow them at: facebook.com/TheLarderLancashire, twitter.com/LarderLancs & youtube.com/channel/UCSUwZ3PSigvWhYJxd8Tte0A And us?
