'Steaming vegetables is one of the best ways to cook your veggies whilst helping them retain most of their nutritional value. Using this simple pan method, you can steam a whole array of vegetables in 10 mins or less (on average). If you follow this method, you probably won\'t need this warning but i\'ll say it just in case - your pan can steam dry if you don\'t put in enough water or if you leave it on a high heat for too long. So keep your pan on a medium heat after you\'ve added your veg, keep an eye on the small amounts of steam that escape your pan and when the steam stops escaping - that\'s when you need to add more water!
