'Being a Muslim parent, it’s our responsibility to teach our children about Islam. Grooming our kids spiritually is as much important as is to groom them worldly. The way we start teaching our children teach your kids from early age. If you haven’t taught your child basics of Islam, then do not expect him to be religious towards his child in future. .......................... Dua when you wake up: الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ “Praise is to Allah Who gives us life after He has caused us to die and to Him is the return.” Dua Before Sleeping: اللهم باسمك أموت وأحيا Dua Before Eating: Reciting duas before and after eating food is one of the etiquette’s of eating Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w) practiced and recommended too. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى بَرَكَةِ اللَّهِ “In the name of Allah and with the blessings of Allah I begin (eating)”. Dua After Eating: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ “All praise belongs to Allah, who fed us and quenched our thirst and made us Muslims.” Dua Before going to washroom: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ – “O Allah, I seek refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers.” Dua After using washroom: غُفْرَانَكَ “(O Allah) I seek forgiveness and pardon from You.” Or you can also memorize this one: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنِّي الْأَذَى وَعَافَانِي “All Praise be to Allah, who removed the difficulty from me and gave me ease (relief).” Dua after Sneezing: When one of you sneezes he should say: الْحَمْدُ للهِ “All praise is for Allah.” and his brother or companion should say to him: يَرْحَمُكَ الله “May Allah have mercy on you.” And he (the one who sneezed) replies back to him يَهْدِيكُمُ اللهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ “May Allah guide you and rectify your condition.” Dua Before Leaving the House: بِسْمِ اللهِ ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ “In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.'
