SWEET POTATO CHEWS -Cut up a sweet potato lengthwise to make wedges -Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F / 180 °C for 4 - 5 hours 3. COCONUT OIL *Snacking on coconut oil can freshen your dog's breath and provide various health benefits. *Coconut oil should be introduced slowly and give only once or twice a day, typically with a meal or as a treat. *Coconut oil has a high fat value. You should monitor your dog’s weight when giving coconut oil. 4. PEANUT BUTTER DOG TREATS INGREDIENTS: -1 cup milk (Some dogs may be lactose intolerant. In that case, you can substitute water for the milk.) -1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (make sure it does NOT contain artificial sweeteners such as xylitol.) -1 large egg -2 cups all-purpose unbleached flour -1/2 cup oatmeal STEPS: -Preheat oven to 350°F -Mix together the milk, peanut butter, and egg in a food processor. -Stir the flour and oats together. Slowly add the mixture to the milk, peanut butter and eggs. -Remove the dough from the food processor. And roll small pieces into balls. -Place small balls of dough onto a tray lined with parchment paper. Press the balls down with your thumb to flatten slightly. -Bake for 30 minutes or until they are slightly brown.
