'In this initial impressions overview, I go hands-on with A Pup Above. This cooked dog food differentiates itself from many of the other subscription/delivered cooked dog foods by improving upon its ingredient composition, placing a focus on transparency, and utilizing a superior cooking method with sous vide. Furthermore as opposed to a varied QTY, A Pup Above standardized the amount of food in each bag. Each bag is 3lbs and comes with multiple packs of 16oz loaves of the corresponding recipe. This allows you to have flexibility in how much you serve your dog. In my personal experience, I have found dogs have better energy levels, superior health, and skin and coat alongside better weight balance and smaller stools. It also carries the benefit of generally allowing for less food to be served, so while it is more expensive than most kibble it carries many many more benefits and can be fed less. As always review your feeding strategy with your vet and balance against the life stage of your dog alongside their breed, age, and activity level. They have four different protein options and all include an organ meat protein which is great as a natural taurine source and also provides additional nutrients that are not as biologically appropriate or digestible as found in other sources. https://apupabove.com/ #dogfood #bestdogfood #humangradedogfood'
