'You\'ve probably heard of breaking purple or black food coloring dyes, but what about breaking blue? Certain shades of the Wilton\'s food coloring pastes (including Delphinium Blue) are composed of both blue and small amounts of red food coloring. This means that we can have some fun causing the colors to separate when we add dry roving to a warm dyebath. Welcome to another dyeing experiment, where you can discover the result along with me. Visit http://www.chemknits.com for free patterns and more knitting & yarn dyeing tutorials.'
