Hey family!!! In today's What's For Dinner video we're sharing two new 30 minute dinners! These are not only quick to make and easy, they are also budget friendly! We'll show you how to make them, how long it takes, and how much they cost! We're making Ground Beef Stroganoff and Cheesesteak Style Sloppy Joes! Recipes below! Ground Beef Stroganoff: ***** https://30minutesmeals.com/ground-beef-stroganoff/ Ingredients 2 tablespoons butter 12 oz baby portabella mushrooms, sliced 1 medium onion, chopped 6 cloves garlic, minced 1 lb lean ground beef 1 1/2 cups beef broth 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) cream of mushrooms soup 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 4 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes and at room temperature 1 cup sour cream 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 3/44 teaspoon salt 6 cups cooked egg noodles Instructions Place a large, 10 inch cast iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add butter and melt. Add mushrooms, onions and garlic and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Remove from skillet to a small bowl, set aside. Increase heat to medium-high. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook beef for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently and breaking it down. Cook it until no longer pink and it should be slightly browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in 1 cup of beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling. Whisk flour with the remaining 1/2 cup beef broth until fully combined. Stir into beef mixture. Add the cream of mushroom soup and stir to combine. Add the cream cheese and stir to combine, breaking it down until melted. Add the mushroom mixture to the skillet, stir and wait for it to start boiling. Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until fully combined. Serve with cooked egg noodles. Cheesesteak Style Sloppy Joes: ***** https://thetoastykitchen.com/cheesesteak-style-sloppy-joes/ NOTE: This recipe is for 4 servings. I used an extra half pound of ground beef and got 6 servings out of it. Ingredients 1 pound ground beef 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 small onion diced 1 green bell pepper diced 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup beef broth 1 tablespoon cornstarch 4 slices white american or provolone cheese NOTE: We don't like provolone, so I used Mozzarella. 4 buns Instructions Heat a saute pan over medium heat. Crumble ground beef and season with salt and pepper, then cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside. Add butter to pan. Once melted, add onion and bell pepper and saute until vegetables begin to brown and onions turn translucent, about 4-5 minutes. Reduce heat to low, then return ground beef to pan. Add garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth, scraping the bottom of the pan as you incorporate your ingredients. Add cornstarch and stir until dissolved. This will thicken the beef broth and create a sauce. If beef looks dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of water. Remove from heat. Top meat mixture with cheese slices and allow to set for 1-2 minutes, or until melted. Remove from heat, spoon onto rolls and serve immediately. Thanks for Watching! Subbie News: We now longer have the p.o.box. We decided not the renew it this time. We will notify y'all if that changes. Love y'all!
