'During the 2018 year-end festive period, more than 700 people in Singapore suffered food poisoning after eating catered food from Spize restaurant on River Valley Road, TungLok Catering, FoodTalks Caterer and Manufacturer, and Mandarin Orchard Hotel.  As Chinese New Year looms, and plans are made for family reunion dinner and other parties, Talking Point’s Steven Chia spent two days in Neo Garden’s catering kitchen to find out what it takes to prevent food contamination.   He also finds out about food hygiene and other lapses in the industry from Lily Lim, a home caterer who used to work with food catering companies.
