'Briwat is a Moroccan food of many shapes and flavors. Today an American makes cheese briouat in both the triangle shape, and the cigar. This is an easy recipe, as there are few ingredients, though I still managed to forget some things. What is briouat? Moroccan Briwat is likened to an egg roll or spring roll. Fried to be golden brown it can have fish, chicken, meat, or fruit de mer. Today we make cheese briwat inspired by @cookingwithalia , she has plenty of Moroccan recipes which inspired my harira, briwat, zaalouk, and many future projects to come. For Moroccan Ramadan Iftar, briwat is a great way to get in your calories, as it is fried, and stuffed with rich ingredients. Vermicelli can be combined with protein to give you a macronutrient powerhouse that is full of Moroccan flavor. Today the briwat reminded me of crab rangoon, an Asian food that is based with cream cheese. The ingredients today are: Jebli, Shredded cheese, parlsey, garlic, and spring onion. In the future I would like to explore buffalo chicken briwat, philly cheese steak, southwestern style, as well as the more traditional Moroccan flavors. I just like experimentation and following curiosity. It must be the scientist in me, or the explorer.
