SMOOTHIE RECIPES: Rise and Shine Revitalizer Smoothie: (*Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, immune system protector, skin revitalizer) ½ banana ½ cup of mango ½ cup of peaches ½ orange 2-3 teaspoons of chia seeds ½ teaspoon of honey 2-3 cups of milk of choice Tropical Sunrise Smoothie: (* Antioxidant rich, anti-inflammatory digestive aid and skin protector) ½ cup of mango ½ orange ½ medium carrot ½ banana ½ cup of papaya 1-2 teaspoons of pumpkin seeds ½ teaspoon of ginger root ¼ teaspoon of turmeric root (*or powdered ginger and turmeric) 2-3 cups of milk of choice (* In all of my smoothie recipes I use organic fruits and vegetables. Be sure to wash and rinse the produce thoroughly.) INGREDIENTS’ HEALTH BENEFITS: BANANAS Bananas are a great source of essential vitamins and minerals. They are ideal for those who regularly exercise because they provide a quick source of energy and help with muscle repair. Bananas can benefit your brain, skin and bones because of its high content of manganese. They are a good source of Vitamin C, helping to keep you looking young. They are also high in antioxidants and can help you to lose weight. MANGOS While also creating a delightful tropical experience for your taste buds, the mighty mango also delivers a healthy dose of vitamins, minerals and enzymes to benefit health. This tropical fruit is great for lowering blood sugar and boosting brain health. It is also a great high-fiber food and high-antioxidant food.
